This policy explains how JuaNBO handles the personal data you send us through the contact form on this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is [Company name / owner], [full address], email [privacy contact email].
2. What data we collect
- Data you give us: name, email address, phone number (optional) and the text of your message.
- Technical data: the IP address and browser information (user agent) of the device you send the form from, together with the date and time of sending and of your consent to this policy.
Please do not include sensitive information (health, political opinions, etc.) in your message.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To reply to your request and, if you ask for it, to prepare a quote or proposal. Legal basis: your consent and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(a) and (b)).
- To protect the form from spam and abuse, using the technical data. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your data for marketing and we do not make automated decisions about you.
4. Is it mandatory?
Name, email, message and acceptance of this policy are needed to send the form. Without them we cannot reply to you. The phone number is optional.
5. Who can see your data
Your data is stored in a database on our own web server and is read only by the JuaNBO team. The company hosting the server may process it on our behalf as a data processor. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else, unless required by law.
6. Transfers outside the EU
JuaNBO works between Italy and Kenya, so your data may be accessed from Kenya. Where this happens, we use the safeguards required by the GDPR (Chapter V), such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep it
We keep contact requests for up to 24 months after our last exchange with you, then delete them. If the request leads to a contract, the data needed for it is kept for as long as the law requires.
8. Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before. To do so, write to [privacy contact email].
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, in Kenya the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
9. Cookies
This website does not use cookies or tracking tools. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
